Miami Eruv

The Miami Eruv, established in 1986, combines the use of the seawall and eruv-owned poles along the beaches. Following the passing of R’ Pinchas Weberman, R’ Yisroel Weberman assumed the role of Rav Hamachshir. In 2021, the eruv underwent significant upgrades in collaboration with R’ Akiva Steinmetz zt”l, shortly before his passing.

Miami boasts a vibrant and diverse Jewish community. Many iconic condo buildings lining the stunning Miami shoreline, such as Tower 41, are home to prominent Jewish figures who enjoy the warmer climate year-round or seasonally. The city is also home to a frum day school and yeshiva. However, rising housing costs have led many younger families to relocate to the growing and more affordable community of North Miami Beach. During the winter months, local kosher restaurants and attractions are bustling with frum visitors escaping the colder climates of the East Coast.
